Partners for Now AND Next

Welcome to Arena Media. We help grow business by understanding how to change behaviour. We think about the present and future in equal measure - taking advantage of today's fast moving, always on world to keep our clients one step ahead. We call this 'Partners for Now AND Next'.

Arena launched in 1990 for clients drawn to a more entrepreneurial approach to growing their business beyond buying their way to success.

Since 2008 we have been part of the Havas global network, but our heritage in putting innovation first remains central to our approach today.

We believe in making the complex simple. Two guiding principles shape everything we do at Arena, and they come without a piece of jargon in sight: 'Partners for Now And Next' and 'Further, Faster'.

This image was created by Nic Hinton to celebrate Arena turning 21 in 2011. It tells our story since launch in 1990, highlighting some of the big moments in media that have shaped us along the way.

In a tough economic climate, we know it’s critical to ensure our clients hit their targets. But the pace of change today is unprecedented and the scope for media innovation is vast. We believe innovation drives growth and gains competitive advantage.

We also know that the old business cycles are dead and we need to understand real-time information, such as site sales data or social comment, as it happens – and be agile enough to react straight away.

So our clients are faced with twin objectives: delivering short term goals, while also shaping a longer range vision to take advantage of change and new consumer behaviours. And that's why we endeavour to be Partners for Now AND Next.

We have a simple promise at Arena to go Further, Faster for all of our clients.

It defines the way we all think and work, and is what we believe sets us apart from other agencies.

We look to go Further by having unique Strategic Planning capability, combining data analytics and social media monitoring with Comms Planning methods to unlock more powerful insights.

We have built a planning system Architect, which challenges briefs further by probing how consumers make choices; questioning the behaviour change needed for campaigns to succeed.

We do not limit our clients with agency share deal restrictions, giving us complete freedom to innovate – across paid, earned or owned media content.

In digital, our award winning digital business Quantum now offers e-commerce driven clients a consultancy service to find ways to drive a step change in online revenues.

Our whole approach is founded on a restless drive to find ways to go further for our clients.

In today's always-on world, staying agile and moving Faster is equally critical.

We put data analysts in to our Client teams to ensure we are able to optimise and react to real-time trends when campaigns are live.

We built a data management platform that can process data 10 times faster than standard industry tools - quickly putting insight in to the hands of people who can action it.

Spread across one operational floor, we are structured to promote not prevent integration and a rapid exchange of information between channels. TV to Search is a matter of yards.

Asked what makes us different, in a market where its often hard to tell, we are all about our speed to innovation. But because we try and avoid jargon, we think of it as going Further, Faster.

We are an integrated agency with expertise across all channels - from every form of broadcast media to the data-driven world of PPC.

Our digital services are very much immersed in the whole agency, with our Client Planning team skilled to manage all forms of media.

Our infographic below reflects the scope of services we provide at Arena, and our understanding of the interplay between media.

Our Quantum team - once an award winning digital specialist agency in its own right - now provides clients with a specialist consultancy service aimed at boosting e-commerce performance.

247 Social is our social and content division, providing clients dedicated expertise in the world of earned and owned media.

We are never distracted from our primary goal to drive business growth.

We have data analytics expertise sitting in both our Strategy Hub to aid planning and in client teams to ensure we can act on real-time insight.
